we officially have a mobile baby!

making the most of the heat wave

well, we left the 95-100 degree weather in texas only to find ourselves in the middle of a heat wave here in eugene. it has been brutal (in part because we are both hot weather wimps despite the fact that our respective hometowns each have extreme weather).

in any case, greg installed a new clothesline and hung our laundry out to dry. we are pretty excited about this, as our utility bill really spiked last winter. we also bought a teeny baby pool for virginia, which she loves.

texas cousins

virginia was able to meet her cousins in brownsville. here are some cute pictures of her with ben and devin.

brownsville

we arrived in texas on thursday and have been having a really great time (despite the incredible heat). we have been taking lots of pictures but can't upload them yet. here are two that patty took the other day. the first is of her son benjamin and virginia. ben is just two months older than virginia so it is really fun for them to play together.
