today was our due date

it is hard to believe that it was estimated that virginia would be born today- yet we've had her for two weeks already.

we have been having a great time. it seems like every day gets better as we adjust to parenthood. we're managing to get a little more sleep (we quickly learned that virginia sleeps much better if she is nestled as close to one of us as humanly possible).

greg has really been looking forward to virginia trying out her toys. (he is going to be such a fun dad!) so we decided to get out our "tiny love gymini". we were surprised that she seemed to like it so much right away. she enjoyed looking around at all the dangling toys. it really is great that she has these alert periods now.
