but my friend jannis had an excellent idea: to call him during the appointment so that he could hear it over the phone. amy & erin were with me and we called greg just as he was heading in to work and he was able to hear it. it was great!

missing greg / baby's heartbeat
unfortunately, greg had to go to eugene a few weeks earlier for work and i miss him. it is difficult to be apart during this exciting time. we knew that he would miss our 12-week appointment, at which we would hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time and we were both a little bummed about that.
but my friend jannis had an excellent idea: to call him during the appointment so that he could hear it over the phone. amy & erin were with me and we called greg just as he was heading in to work and he was able to hear it. it was great!
